I am using XP & my system takes too much of time to boot & is slow. The free space on c-drive is 12gb & on D drive is almost full ie 4.64gb & ram is 256mb

Okay my computer tower and everything turns on just fine, but the monitor wont work right. It turns on but the screen just stays black. The only time it lights up is when i turn the computer off, then the screen goes white for a second. When i turn the tower and stuff on the monitor's light goes green but thats all. what should i do? I really dont want to have to buy another monitor...this is my second one in a little over a year and my computer is only 5 years old!

I am wanting to upgrade the 80Gb HDD with a 500Gb HDD but not sure what type of HDD it is.

Before you talk about the scroll lock button thing, don't. Already tried that. Nothing. Virus? Maybe..but this stupid mouse really annoyed me A LOT! I'm new to building computers. My new job requires at home to business web cam sales. I need two monitors to do my prework see the customer and my options as we are speaking. Is there anything I need to make sure I do in the set up so both monitors work????? I have a dell xp professional 320gb /2mb/512kb/amd-logtech web camfusion1.3 meg(640x480). Will both monitors plug into back to be used as separate monitors??? The company will be installing the programs for interactive between customer and I??? Folder -- My Computer
Icon -- Removable Disc
Folder -- DCIM
and there's variety of folders likee 100NIKON 102NIKON & so on.

where do i place my pictures if i wna put it on my memory card so it can show up on my camera?

I need to get a new PSU for my Dell Dimension 4600. I am going to get the 7900GS AGP. My PSU now is 250W, 325W max. I think I need a 400W PSU. I know dell parts are custom so can someone give me a cheap PSU that will fit into my system without modding. (I dont want to spend anymore than $50)

I have an old 96 Ibm that was upgraded to a 98 and also had a a memory upgrade done in 2003, and also has a new hard drive from the prevouse owner.Its a spare.It runs great .We never use it because we have two brand new computers.I wanted to get my mom started on the internet but the computer is only set up for dial up.what would I need to buy or do to get it set up for high speed?I just want her to learn so she is not afraid to go out and get a computer later. I dont want to spend to much though.

So I have a dying hard drive due to a growing number of bad sectors and about ready to crash. Im going to be getting a new drive. Is there a way I can copy the data from a dying drive to the new drive and maintain the same windows installation? Or will Windows throw a fit and force me to reinstall?

The file system and Windows seem to be intact and stable. And I would really rather not have to manually move 50 gb of data if there is an easier way to do this.
Or am I better off just copying the drive and reinstalling windows?
