Hi Shilpa,
There a new website www.SwamiLaptops.in where you can find all the branded laptop at cheapest price. Have a look at website and see if it serves your purpose. I purchased my Lenovo laptop from SwamiLaptops. They offer free delivery in Bangalore. Not sure of their delivery charges for rest of countries.
You can also try www.SwamiPC.in.
Hope it helps
Mahendra

Apple. The operating system is way easy to use, you can still get Microsoft Word, Excel etc. and you don't have to worry about security constantly.
I switched from a Toshiba laptop two years ago (which served me well for three years) but I spent more time troubleshooting Windows than getting any work done. I resisted getting a mac, because obviously it was a major switch, but it was definitely worth it. I would hesitate to use anything else.
The only downside is if you are really into playing the latest computer games. They have a lot of the bigger name ones available for mac, but there's definitely more out there for Windows users. Of course, you can run Windows on macs now, using the Parallels software, and still play all of your favorite games.
Happy shopping.

Do you already know the make (brand, like, say, HP, or IBM, or Acer, or Toshiba, etc....)? If not, get reviews (PC Mag, consumerreports, etc.)
Do you know the "official price"? If not, go to the manufacturer's website, go through the process of configuring to buy, and "adding it to your cart" as if you're about to buy...to see the price of the whole kit and kaboodle, then X out at the last possible moment...(The manufacturer would be glad to take your money online, if you want, so that's ONE website where you could order online!)
Then, go to Google, (www.google.com) and on the search bar type "froogle" and you'll get a list of all the websites where you can buy online. Sorted by price, low to high. Check with those folks by email to see if you can get your configuration. Order depending on your level of trust.

I ve bought a laptop from an Ebay.in 4 months ago n again m gonna buy a new Dell laptop from an Ebay . Ur money is fully protected by third parties and r fully re-imbursed in case the prdct not delivered @ ur place . Or just simply go to Dell manufacturers site and buy it from there . But trust me Ebay.com(US OFFICIAL) site is much better n cheap comparision to manufacturers site . Even u can go on bidding to buy the product .

I would say www.dell.com. I have a dell Inspiron E1505 I just got it in December. It works really nice and has many cool features. Just look around and see what you find. I like the new colorful ones. Look into those maybe.

Dell does most of their business on line, and now through Walmart. You should check out Office Max, they are having a clearance sale on laptops.
