Click on it one time, to select the file, press and hold the Shift key on yur keyboard and press Delete (without letting go of Shift key) on yur keyboard.

A Confirm Delete window will come up with a message- Are yu sure yu want to delete (file.name)?

Click on the Yes button.

This will permanently delete the file and yu can not retrieve it later again.

Not unless yu find a Java software to retrieve it.

I am going to take a stab here - do you mean you have a picture set on your desktop as a background? If so, right click on it and when the little box opens choose properties - when that windows opens choose the desktop tab and you can choose any picture from there to replace the current one. Click apply after you find one and you are set. You can also choose no picture and then go to little button on the bottom right and choose a plain colour if you like.

If it's a file, just drag it to the recycle bin and then empty your recycle bin. If it's part of the desktop, right click on an empty space on your desktop, go to properties, and settings. From there you can change the appearance.

Start by right clicking the icon and choosing DELETE. Then go to the RECYCLE BIN and find this file and right click again and choose DELETE again. When you delete it from the recycle bin it is completely gone.

Hi. If it's a shortcut, right click on it, select 'Properties', and delete the file. Then delete the shortcut, empty the Recycle Bin, and you should be good to go.
