well... there's no much info in your question... unless the cd belongs to an XP/Vista/Mac/Unix only application then there shouldn't be any issues...

to blow your system to it's maximum power,,, dump windows 98. and download Linux.. Ubuntu.. now to see what I am talking about,, go to youtube.com and in the search bar type in linux, ubuntu. and watch all the video clips, about Linux,

You will be able to do more with linux than you can ever do with windows,,,, You will get all the software you will every need all free,

If you can't download Ubuntu, you can request them to sent you a free copy. Ir will be the best move you have ever made in your life...

you can run the Ubuntu from the cd. with out installing it and use every program that is on the cd, if you have broad band you can get on the internet just using the cd,

check it out click on the web links below these are the best and easiest linux to learn.... and you will get more help for linux than you will get for windows

if the cd has a program on it then check the system requirements that are listed on the cd or on the cd packaging
