I have a Western Digital (WD) My Essential 250 GB external hard drive that crapped out on me. Can I transfer the disc to another case, or possibly even to an internal hard drive slot? I have about 3,000 songs and files that I'd kind of like to save. Any help out there? Thanks!

my second time posting........keyboard wont let me type in my Office Word 2007 for an essay. message at bttom of page THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT ALLOWED BECAUSE SELECTION IS LOCKED. how do I unlock so I can type?? i tryed starting up, and I went to the help website it did not help. I am getting a new computer with a EAX1950pro 256MB video card. My current PC has a Geforce 7300GS. I am wondering if I will notice a difference in gaming.


Also for my second question how does the
EAX1950pro256MB stand up to the geforce products what geforce cards are equal or similarly equal to the EAX1950pro 256MB.

I know this video card is not the best I could of gotten but I am a stability freak. I love lower temperature readings. And I heard this card is very stable. I got an awesome gaming case URL below

So I know temps will hold out fine. I am going to upgrade my video card in 6 month to a year or so when the second generation DX10 cards are out. I am not a Super heavy gamer even the 7300GS does me fairly well.

When I was using internet normally, the monitor suddenly lost signal, I wait for like 5 min, then decided to turn off the computer manually by pressing the power button. When I turn it back on again, there isn't any monitor signal on the screen, I took it to the repair store, they did few diagnostic and said that the motherboard was dead, I buy a new motherboard and installed it myself, now after 2 weeks of using it, I'm facing the same problem again, (the monitor suddenly lost signal...).
Anyone have any idea about this?

I am looking for an inexpensive way to attach multiple external monitors to my laptop. I have explored a number of products (Matrox DualHead2Go, Magma ExpressBox using pci video card, VTBook video card) but don't have enough experience to make a sound judgement. I want to be able to keep the laptop closed and use only external, same size monitors. Has anyone had experience with this that could make a suggestion?

should i get a 256 mb nVidia 8600 gts or the 256 mb ATI Radeon x1300 pro, for watching hd movies and viewing everything crystal clear (Windows Vista), no hard core gaming (maybe some online games but no call of duty, etc.) and is a 375 watt power supply good enough for the 8600 gts?

My 7 year old 21" CRT monitor has just died. It had served me well, but now I need a new monitor that can replace it.

I'm looking for a newer high quality 19-22" LCD that has been REVIEWED (please give a link) and considered to have relatively good color reproduction and general image quality compared to lesser LCDs. It should be good enough so that a CRT user would not be too annoyed to look at it.

It should have DVI-D and HDCP. Lack of ghosting would be a plus.

I say its better to turn it off every night, to save electricity and let the computer have a break and all, but my brother agrues that you should leave it on. He believes it is hard on the computer for it to have to load everything up every day. Who's right?
