What program can I download (for free) that'll remove data from RW disc?

Do you have Windows Media Player....?
That usually comes with most systems these days, anyway


try doing this after you turn on WMP,

To erase a CD-RW
Click Copy to CD or Device.
Click the Erase disc button near the Items on Device pane.
When prompted, click Yes.
Notes

The Erase disc button is not available for CD-RW discs if the CD contains files, such as .doc files, that the Player does not play.
The Erase disc button is only available on select versions of Windows. For more information, see Special features.
