Okay, here's some simple tech support. Are your speakers mounted on the Monitor or are they stand alone. If they are stand alone, try a different set and see if the speakers are bad. Also try this to see if the jack is bad. Next, look at your sound settings. See if you have the profile set up so that sound will only play to your headphones.

Various factors may cause this issue.

If you hear sound via the headphones then the problem is definitely not related to sound card or driver issues. It has to do either with the speakers themselves (physically) or with the audio software (perhaps the channel to the speakers is muted).

Please tell us more ... are the speakers integrated in the monitor ?
If not, is their power supply properly connected & functional.
Was this issue always there ... is this a new PC .... are they new speakers .... did they work before .... ?

I will return to the question once you add more details.

Yeah try it on diff. pc. If it works then it can be the plug thingy. Anyway, where do you hook up the headphones thru the speaker or thru the back? Can it be that your speaker was unplug? Or your speaker don't need a plug? Goodluck!

You could try pluggin your speakers into your headphone jack instead of the back.... ?
If your speakers are NEW it's possible they are broken.
Can you try them in someone elses computer?
