About 3 months ago, my desktop pc suddenly restarted on its own when I was surfing web, doing word, excel...etc. I thought the problem came from 80G HD. Therefore, I removed the the 80G HD and placed my old 10G HD.

About 2 weeks ago, the 10G HD started to restart on its own again.

What' wrong with my pc? I tried defrag, virus scan, spyware scan -- nothing helped to solve the problem!!! Both my 80G & 10G HD were new when I have purchased them and I am the own users. (10 G HD had never failed before)

Motherboard failure? Anyone had the same problem before? Please give me some advice.

I am having trouble finding a benchmark list that includes 6100 and seperate video cards. Is it better than Fx 5500? FX 5200? Radeon 9550? Radeon 9200? Even though the core speed is much higher at 425 MHz I am betting it doesn't perform as well as an AGP card at 250/300 MHz.

What is the best way to install a Lexmark x75? I have Windows xp, and do not have the software that came with the printer. Thanks.

Is it correct to answer this question by specifying the size of L1 and L2 for the two processors.
Is this what the question is asking?

I have a Lexmark x75 all-in-one printer that I haven't used in a while, and I need to know how to check (if there is a way to) if it is the ink cartridges that have been unsed and sitting in the printer the problem (as in I just need new ones), or is there a way to check if the printer/scanner/copier itself is not working. Also, after downloading a driver from Lexmark support, I am unable to print regular text from WordPad- why is that? A prompt tells me that the x75 is not communicating with my computer. I would appreciate any advice from knowledgeable people. I plan on contacting Lexmark support, but I'm sure they will not be overly concerned (sarcasm) since the printer is a few years old, and while they might help, I would still appreciate your support. Thanks.

"hardware" refers to "the specifics of a computer, including the detailed logic design and the packaging technology of the computer"

I know the words. I understand what the statement is saying, but I still don't get it.

Can you give me concrete examples of "hardware" (according to the above information)

Thank you.

The CPU usage is always jumping around 100% and his computer is horribly slow.
PF Usage is normal
I checked the names of ALL names under "Processes" and there is nothing that shouldn't be running.

What else can I do to help speed it up?!?! It's waaaaay too slow!

My boyfriend put his CPU & Monitor in storage and we got them out after about 5 months, let them warm up and went to start it up and it won't load. We get one long and two short beeps and then nothing, the monitor light even stays orange! A few times the montior light up green and brought up "CompUSA" and let us get into the set up screen and then when we exit again the monitor light goes orange and it gives up one long and two short beeps. We tested the monitor with my laptop and it works, we tried a new keyboard and that didn't seem to help...any suggestions?

I will be getting a laptop for school next year and I'm sick of Windows and definitely ready to try a Mac. All I will really use it for is:

-Surfing internet and watching live baseball games
- Email
-Instant messaging, preferably AIM
-Write papers, powerpoint presentations, and that stuff...
-Listening to music...Itunes
- If it is still working 3 years from now maybe run some software for my home office on it.

so as you can see I wont be doing anything really intense. But Im sick of Windows and heard Vista has a lot of problems, although they might be sorted out by the time school comes around. I know Macs are a little more expensive, but it does fit into my budget. Ive spoken to people who got "great deals" on laptops for like $599, only to see it die within a year. I believe you get what you pay for. So I will be using a laptop for all of the above functions, but I also want a GOOD laptop that will not die after 1 year.
