how do u install sound into a computer?

i installed windows and now i dont have sound

Try installing the driver cd that came with your computer.Make sure to check speaker hook up.

Usually you have a few CDs with your computer, the Bios ones and stuff should come with the drivers to make the soundcard work. Just install and everything should be fine, unless you are missing a sound card.
If your computer doesn't have a sound card you could try a USB sound card. Creative made the XMod one. You just plug and it should be good to go.

We need more information. Did you just reinstall Windows and don't have sound, or is it something that just started happening?
