when printing it will say check your ink cartridge but it is full

Once in awhile if not used for awhile you have to run the head cleaner a couple of time's to get any printer to work.So try the cleaning program that's with your printer.I don't pay attention to the printer saying inks low or out till it stops printing.I have taken out the ink cartridge and shook it and reinstalled and it worked some more.Try these then if not any of these you may need to just re download the printer program.

Did you buy a genuine lexmark cartridge or refill? I have a Lexmark X7350 that will say the ink cartridges are empty, but it will still print.
