I have a Lexmark x75 all-in-one printer that I haven't used in a while, and I need to know how to check (if there is a way to) if it is the ink cartridges that have been unsed and sitting in the printer the problem (as in I just need new ones), or is there a way to check if the printer/scanner/copier itself is not working. Also, after downloading a driver from Lexmark support, I am unable to print regular text from WordPad- why is that? A prompt tells me that the x75 is not communicating with my computer. I would appreciate any advice from knowledgeable people. I plan on contacting Lexmark support, but I'm sure they will not be overly concerned (sarcasm) since the printer is a few years old, and while they might help, I would still appreciate your support. Thanks.
