Hello

Computers are machines, like any other machine they are capable of working as longs as you want, but you should not cross the limits. Of course it is ok to leave your computer on for for days, but it's not what you should do if you don't have the right computer for example a computer with good colling system. I should be concerned about the heat, as you run you get hot the same is with the computers or as they are on the hardware parts get hot and it is is necessary for them to cool down in order to not generate too much heat that might case fire or destroy some chips even and plastic stuff that the motherboard has. You may leave the computer on for 3 or 4 days but you should keep in mind that they need to cool down and rest too. But if you have the right cooing hardware such as a CPU cooler, or and entire water cooled motherboard than it is normal to leave it on as long as you want. How do you think the businesses operate, they never turn off their systems or computer but keep in mind that they have special systems and computers. So if you have a move or anything long to do you can do it, if it takes days. Thats why the computers are designed for, especially the new generation PC.

The question is a little difficult to understand.

If you are asking if you can keep your computer on for 15 hours a day, then that's a definite yes (though some would say it's bad for a computer). I do this all the time when I am downloading something that I'd like finished by morning.

YES YOU CAN!

Downloading is not a processor intensive operation, so, it is not a severe service condition. A hi-performance PC is not even required for downloading.

Just make sure your CPU is in a well ventilated environment. Avoid cramped corners or having the back of the CPU almost touching the wall. There are exhaust fans at the back that throw away hot air from the CPU casing. They should not be blocked.

Happy downloading!!!

It won't hurt a thing, have left them on for months at a time. I hibernate them now, due to the heat of two computers in a small room. And somebody correct me if I'm wrong but they will continue to download in this state.

No! Never more than ten, maybe fifteen minutes, or your brain will fry. That is how I got like this.
