I was thinking about buying this to start off and building it up. What you guys think? Should I? Is it worth the trouble? What are some good advantages of building my own computer as well as disadvantages?

I have a Intel 430VX motherboard (with Pentium 133MHz processor installed), and I want to put in a memory module of 128 MB of PC133 SDRAM. Will that work, even if the VX, i think, has FSB speed of 66 MHz?

When the old cartridges were finished, I changed them and put in new ones. I got the green light then I started to get the red light. When I started to print I got a printer icon showing the cartridge and was told to remove the one on the right (black).I did and the printer found out the color cartridge had a problem. I reinstalled both but I still cannot print. I have a queue of work and need help in getting my printer to work again. Any suggestions?

I changed the old colour and black catridge to new cartridges on my HP 7600 (cartridge combo 56 and 57).The printer was working fine before I installed the new cartridges. now, every time I try to print out something I get a red light and the notice to remove my black cartridge. After I obey the notice I still cannot print out. I have tried everything. Where I live the cartridges cost $40-$50 and there are no electronic stores so I cannot simply run out and buy more. This cartridge combo was a brand new gift Ordering online is another matter as most companies do not accept orders from overseas. Is there anything I can do to get my printer to work again? There is a long queue of work to be printed and I need the work- photos and text which do not fit on diskettes and I am out of CDS. Please help.

I asked how I could put things on my E and F drive that are taking up necessary space on my C drive. Got a few answers, some helpful, some a little sarcastic, but that's okay.
Now I would like to know if I can unplug the C drive which is down to 164mbs of space, and plug the C drive in where the E/F partioned drive is, and vice versa, and keep everything I have, while still being able to add to the E/F partitioned drive.
My theory is if I just swap them, then all the things installed (webcam, printer, and Windows XP) will remian on there, while new and additional things could be put onto the E/F partitioned drive. Then, once I do this, I'll swap them back. I understand that I can get new bigger drives, but if I do that I will lose XP because it's installed on my current C drive, as is the webcam and printer, but they can be reinstalled. I CANNOT reinstall XP and I don't want to lose it. PLEASE remember, I don't know much at all about these machines, so simple answers is appreciated

I am looking to purchase a midtower case for my collection. I currently own the Full Tower CM Stacker 830 Evolution. I would like to get some feedback from people who either have a good case or willing to purchase a new one. I have between $150 to $200 to shell out.

I just purchase the ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition motherboard for this new box. Let me see what good taste you people have for a brand new case. Thank you for your input.

I do a lot of my homework on my desktop. I save everything on my flash drive. Oftentimes, I forget to detach it from the CPU. I'm wondering if what I'm doing is okay. I'm concerned that the usual rebooting of the CPU might end up corrupting my files. Thanks.

SOMETIMES I click on LINKS in Windows my mouse doesnt respond... Sometimes it takes 2 clicks, sometimes 4. Sometimes when I attempt to click-drag the machine responds late and skips the drag midway, causing me to miss the drag and having to restart the click-drag all over again. I'm using a microsoft standard wireless optical mouse and keyboard on Windows XP.

I am trying to make dvd covers on a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I want the borders to be just right without shrinking the design or cutting anything off. I've been wasting paper trying to get the borders right. How do I set the printer so it stops shrinking and offsetting the cover design? I've tried to set a few paper sizes with no luck. I can't get it perfect to where I want it, I don't want the cover art to be too small or cut off.
