1)Well, people are used to Windows, that is what they had and what they think they want.
2)They are scared to change.
3)They cost a little more in the short run, but less in the long run.
4)You just don't see Apples all over, geez, pretty soon they will be selling them at the 7-11. Familiarity again.
5)Some software does not run on Apples --they may want one of them sometime.
6)They like viruses on their computer. They see it as part of having a computer.
7)Some people are getting smarter--Apple market share is growing.

four very big reasons-

1. windows may not be as good as mac, but it has maintained consistency, and so the users have faith in windows.

2. people who have been using windows and learning abt it throughout life will find it difficult to immediately switch to mac or invest their money in a mac hoping it to be good.

3. a mac is better than windows, but it's more expensive too. it's expensive for small considerate things, but people would prefer the "straightness" of windows and like i said, they're still used to windows

4. many applications on the internet or many games are not formatted for a mac but rather to windows format to serve the huge amount of windows users. remember, 90% of the world's computers run on windows

People want cheap...but they don't realize, you get what you pay for, and Macs are worth every penny.
