Then about 2 weeks ago it stopped working what's wrong with it?

At the moment the dots (pixels?) are very spread out, the picture is larger than usual & resolution of pictures is shocking. It's only showing the darker contrasts. This is no thanks to my 5 year old of course......it's very annoying. Any pointers (clear, simple instructions) would be greatly appreciated.

every time i turn on my computer i have to wait like 20 mine until it loads an than it works perfectly fine.is that because i have so many programs and it has to load all of them?if you have an answer please specify how i can solve this problem pls,pls.by the way my comp has 512 ram 160 gb hard drive amd sempron 3200+ with 1.8 gh an video card gforce mx 4000

I have all these excess programs that I want to get rid of, b/c I never even use them. I want to keep pnly certain programs and completely wipe out the others, which I also need help doing.

living in holland i do quite a lot of p2p and bit torrents but appearently it can really wreck your HDD. i had a 160GB segate IDE drive but it broke after a year( well it makes a loud ticking noise and then blue screens) would you reccomend a 320GB perpendicular drive or a 250GB drive designed for small servers

Here is what I have;
I bought a Dell Dimension E510 in April 2006.
It came with Windows XP
80BG Hard Drive (have 45GB left)
300Ghz Pentium 4 Processor w/ Hyper Thread
512 MB Memeory
The CD-RW drive is sh*t already, I am wanting to replace it but not sure what to get... I want a DVD-RW/CD-RW Burner combo, if any one has any ideas.

I have added a Radeon 256mb 9250 Graphics card.

I have a lot of Music and photos on the computer and Ages of Empires 3 is one of the biggest added programs on it.

I am wanting to make the computer run faster. It is surprisingly slow. I am currently trying to upgrade my virus protection and anti-Spyware protection.

I am not sure how to get programs out of the start-up folder, it would be great to have help with that, because it is so slow at start-up and shut down.
If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

whenever i try to use my webcam it says that i'm already using my webcam in a different application. and it says to disconnect from the other application. But i don't know what the application is... because its not being used by anything else. I even unplugged it and let it sit for a night or so and i plugged it back in and it still said that.

So pretty much I bought the motherboard, the ram, and just hooked it up to the harddrive and everything correctly, I believe. The computer sort of turns on, the powerlight doesnt turn on and the screen doesnt display anything on it, there are no sounds out of the speakers. In fact I wouldnt even say it was on if the fan from the CPU didnt work.

It says in the manual of the MSI motherboard I have "300watt powersupply or up recommended"

My powersupply is 250watts. Im 65% sure that is the reason its not doing that but does anyone know something else it could be?

It says its recommended but that doesnt mean needed right??

Only thing, I just dont want to buy a whole new powersupply and find out that wasnt the reason, and that I bought it for no reason.

I think I installed Office from a friend, but do have it on my old hard drive currently...

How do I transfer all my music on windows media player and on my ARES music program (over 1,000 songs) to my new cpu any ideas?? Oh and how do I transfer videos I have made to my new cpu too? Do I use disks? I have some cd-rw disks will these work? I know back in the day I could use those square things to save stuff onto...is a cd-rw the same thing? E-mail doesn't support such large files. I am not that cpu illerate believe it or not just the saving stuff and tr of thing I have never done...lol! UGH please help!!!

i have this motherboard made by intel DG965WH
and one of the main reasons i bought it was because i thought the motherboard supported sata II. it has 6 sata ports but it doesnt specifically say anywhere on the intel site that it is 6 sata II ports. can anyone help me verify that indeed these are sata II ports. i plan on using esata drives with sata II hard drives and i can't get sata II speeds if the motherboard doesn't support it. please help.

I just bought a 256mb pc133 sdram and my computer has a max of 512mb ram which i now have 2x256mb=512. So its all together but when i go to properties under MyComputer it only sais 256mbram? Why? is there something i need to do. I have a pavilion 7920.

okay, heres the thing - i was planning a rig with an R600 when it comes out - so to find out i decided to check if the 8800GTX fits in the Gigabyte 3D Aurora (which is my planned case) - but it doesnt!
so another case caught my eye - Thermaltake Tsunami - i heard that an 8800GTX fits in with 0.1mm clearance, which is no issue since the R600 is supposedly smaller.
But heres the deal -
does anybody know the perfect case? ~$200

and tell me if the Tsunami is good enough

I'm trying to order a webcam from Amazon.com and the site does not really describe the product in depth. I've never had a webcam before and so have no idea about the differences between the different kinds. My main question is if audio is a standard feature on ALL webcams or do I need to buy one specifically with sound?
