Only way really is to replace the fans with quieter ones.

But this usually means replacing the case also.

I big case will allow you to use 120mm fans, which are quieter than smaller fans.

I have the Antec P180 case, and it came with 3 x 120mm fans.
The fans have 3 speeds on them, and the case is also built to reduce noise.

This setup is so quiet that I can barely hear it's on.

I agree with Venom, except that it does not mean you have to change your case. But changing your case may give you some better options for eliminating noise. Larger fans are almost always better. they move more air and can do so at lower speed meaning less noise and less power draw. Also you can get some fans which are especially designed to be silent. However, often times the biggest offendors are the power supply fan, CPU fan and GPU fan. If so, a new case isn't going to change that.

You may then want to consider (Depending on the age of your system) a new video card(Can be pricey), or a video card cooler that is quiet or silent. However, there can be HUGE compatibility conerns with a 3rd party video cooler as they often only fit a few models and video card models vary widely.

a new CPU cooler may be a perfect idea, you can get one for most models as typically the chip design and connectors etc typically don't change much within the same models, and you can probably easily find one for a processor that was current as far back as about 2002 or so.

What I would do is go to a computer professional, like a reputable computer store with technicians and ask them to help determine which parts of your computer are generating the most noise and how to eliminate it.

If you do settle on a new case, P180 is an awesome silent case, I am getting one shorty myself, but I still love my Antec Sonata 2, it's a great cheaper alternative to the P180, and smaller too I think.
