The IBM Netfinity Server when booting up shuts down within 10 seconds and the LED illuminates the VRM (voltage regulator module). How do I solve this so my server can boot up again?

I have tried a different outlet w/o surge protector and unplugged all periphal devices.

I am building a computer and I am wondering what I can build for about $1,000. I need some kind of idea of what I can get for $1,000 - $1,200. I was thinking of the websites newegg.com and tigerdirect.com. If you could please help me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Our laptop computer usually is able to go about three hours on battery before we have to plug it back in, and then it charges back up. But the last time we left it unplugged and then plugged it back in, the battery never did charge. It's been three days and it still says the battery is at 0%. If a battery is rechargeable I thought it didn't "die." Or am I wrong? Please no rude answers--I'm asking because I don't know.

I keep getting this blue screen of death.

NMI: ParityCheck / Memory Parity Error
*** System Has Halted***
I have done a lot of research into this error about my memory chips, and still lost.
I have replaced all my ram ecc chips, "expencive option" 4Gb, and still get this message.
I have even thought it was the system memory, but compaq says that its not a problem of the Proliant Server series.
I am lost!!
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem.
Help much appreciated.

My Cannon does not print so good any more, so I have given up doing pictures from PhotoShop. I just store them. I would like to get a new one, but I did so many on the old Cannon, it is probably not so good any more. I have run probably thousands through this one, making Family Albums for all the relatives, which were at least 3 books each, with 100 pages of stories. Do you have any suggestions. We are not rich, but love to do photos. Maybe one that scans too.

I am attending school online and only need the laptop so that when riding the bus, or at lunchtime at my job, I can work on my classwork. I dont need bells and whistles, and I am going to purchase an ethernet card from T-mobile, to use to access the internet. I do not want "deals" that include signing up with Vonage, or any other company. Either online or in town stores are acceptable (I am in HOuston, Astrodome area) Thanks, in advance!

I have two older Mac tower computers

1) G3 with functioning CD drive

2) G4 with broken CD drive

Naturally the G4 is a lot faster but my son likes to play games from CD-ROMs, can I hook up the two computers to each other or should I transfer the Cd drive from one computer to the other? How difficult would it be to transfer the CD drive? Any links to instructions?

Should i get a external HD or get and Enternal w/ a external enclosure. i am not planing to use it for transfering data form computer to computer i just eed to get my 70gbs of music and moviesoff my main HD because it is slowing it down.. it needs to be able to hold more than 100gb. and for the cheapest price.

I have around $150 to spend online and I am really torn between these two cards. I currently have a Geforce 6200 which is crap and I want to play Oblivion. Please help! I have verison DSL with a Westell Versalink, I want to but a wireless internet card that will work with a NEC versa FX
