can you tell me what's the difference between an external and an internal HD with an external enclosure? i will tell you - none! both is the same except that the external HD is already assembled.
go for an internal HD and an USB enclosure, it's cheaper and easy to assemble. the only thing you have to consider, HD and enclosure must have the same interface, either SATA - SATA or IDE - IDE.

i think u r meanint upgrading ur internal hd on ur pc or just getting a cheap internal hd with an external case, it is cheaper to get the internal with the case, it requires u to do a little work but to save a few bucks it is worth it, make sure u order the correct physical size, lol there is smallones and big ones, believe me u dont want to get a large internal with a small case, there should b measurements within the advertisement

Definitely External. Cheaper and easier to transfer. You can get even more space from the external than the internal.

Keep the external plugged in and you will have your files all the time!!!

Hope this helps

Since you are not going to be using the hard drive for backup or transfer purposes, it is best to go with internal. It's faster and cheaper than external.
