The "Windows XP" screen comes up for a few seconds followed by a flash of the "Blue screen of death" at which point the computer simply re-boots. I've tried starting in safe mode but it then starts listing loads of System32 files before re-starting. Any ideas?

I have to bring my laptop to school (a 20 min walk) everyday. My laptop is a little bit too heavy for me because I am a petite girl and so I put it in a roller bag and roll it to school.

But the road is not smooth all the time and so the entire bag, including my laptop, is being shaked for 20 min.

In the back of my head I sort of remembered that vibration is bad for laptop. Is that true? Will the things inside of the laptop get lossen up and won't work properly one day?

It doesn't even show up on the hard drive anymore! Just like it never was there!
What's the deal?
My computer is 2/12 years old and it was there when I got it!.. For about 1 year! I even used it!

Two months back I was in US. I bought Dell lap top computer. I heard three cases of lap top burst. Two from Dell and one from IBM. Therefore there is no difference in its make. I suspect because of over heat the battery burst. We usually remove the battery from the dead body before cremation. I have come across several cases of mobile phone burst. Why the manufacturers should not provide heat sensors to stop the function or alert us when the battery reaches the critical temperature.

My computer beeps and a small blue box comes out giving me a warning that my monitor is getting too hot. It happens every minute or so until I stop whatever it is that I'm doing. It has happened when I was playing a flash game and when I was saving a big file.

It says more information will be shown on the next start up but that never happens. My other computer's monitor doesn't do this, so I don't know why this does.
