my friend had a guy who ran the system recovery on her computer and it wiped out all her pictures and everything else that was in the system,,, Is there any way to recover the lost pictures that were in the my documents? please help,,

my printner will start printing then it would just stop, then the paper sign will start flashing, whats wrong with the printer?

the paper doesn't get stuck and there is enough paper in the tray.

I have an external hard drive that I have been using on a Mac. I recently plugged it in to my PC, however, Windows XP says that I must convert the disk to a dynamic volume so that it can be recognized and given a drive letter. If I allow Windows to do this, will I lose the data that was previously put on there using the Mac?

Hi, I am trying a choose a good laptop to buy. But I am having a problem choosing the right processor. I have seen a couple of names like Athlon 64, Athlon XP, Pentium 4M, Pentium M, Turino, Celeron, Sempron etc.

I don't know much about processors, so I have no idea which one of these are good. I am mostly going to use the laptop for internet access, and some gaming. And mobility is not an issue because I am going to have it plugged in most of the time. I just want a processor which is reliable, fast, and cheap.

I was told by people in the computer industry that purchasing a business laptop overa Home/Home Office laptop is better in the long run quailty wise and spec wise (that home office computers will break down faster in the future as to a business computer), is this really true?
