my printner will start printing then it would just stop, then the paper sign will start flashing, whats wrong with the printer?
the paper doesn't get stuck and there is enough paper in the tray.

Probably the paper sensor playing up, assuming the paper is feeding in straight and there is no other jam. Give the printer a gentle vacuum inside, using a brush to clear away paper dust etc. Do not wipe off the oil from the metal bar though, it needs that to run smoothly, re-apply a very tiny amount of household oil (sewing machine oil, etc) if the metal bar feels dry.

Check the orientation and the selected paper size you might have the wrong settings.
If OK reset the printer's internal computer.

WELL I got 3 things to help you. 1. Your paper is jammed 2. IF you have dell them you could turn it on 2 see what's wrong and 3. call a guy that can fix a computer.

If you see a printer icon in the bottom right try double clicking it, right click the print job and press cancel.
Then try re-printing it.

it may be printing to file,which if u r printing lots,and u get a backlog,can confuse the hell out of the printer
