You could probably go to the manufacturer's website and either request a replacement cd, or download the necessary drivers and install it that way.

I have a PSC1210 and just had to download the 133Mb file to get it going again. get it from HP.com, easy if you have a broadband connection.

Go to driverguide.com and sign up, it's free to join and then search for the driver you need. If you are unable to download it, email me at samir_esber@yahoo.co.uk and i'll send you driver.
