I almost always use headphones so I don't know if this has been happening since I've had it (about a month) but the balance on the little audio adjustment thing is in the middle, yet sound only comes out the right side. when I move the balance left, no sound comes out, but all the way right produces no change...could someone help me out here?

I have a wireless modem that is set up so wireless is available in our house, but would like to add wireless capability to two desktop computers one is an HP Pavilion a1240n with Intel Pentium 4 processor HT Technology, the other is a dell Dimension desktop 2400 with ntel Pentium 4 processor . Even though we both have digital cameras and the cameras we are arguing about are probably worth zilch, its just the point of me being right...\

I have a Minolta freedom AF35R point-and-shoot camera which I bought in 1991 maybe 1992....

There is another camera a Minolta freedom 50 which is hers and claims to be have been given to her in 1998 by an ex-boyfriend...

Anybody have manuals or proof of when these models were manufactured??? (She claims the crappier-looking camera is mine, the freedom 50)

it's at the bottom of monitor, size is just a bit bigger than the top of a large thumb, its just a shadow really, very faint. never noticed it before to day, by the way never clean my monitor except with a slightly moist cloth, any ideas for a granny novice, what this could be? thanks

my moms computer will not work right and i think she needs a new harddrive. i have deleted everything off and did a systems restore and now all we can get is very few basic features and the pics are very low how can i fix this i have tried system restore along with a back up disk and neither one will work do you think that it should be time for a new computer? and if so what would be the best computer to get for scrapbookind and picture storage that is still a reasonable price

I am asking from an LDC and PCs are fairly scarce over here. So please do not laugh at my asking. ok currently i have a SoYO Dragon platinum II
and i just bought an RME 9652. if you go here you can see that this PCI card has 3 footprints and my motherboard only has PCI slots that allow 2 footprints. at least that's what i think. take a look at the pic and tell me what you think

My CD Burner no longer works even if I use a good quality of CD-R. I've tried all the remedies but none of them seemed to work. I just concluded that it is the drive that's not working when used as a burner. I don't hav money for a replacement. As much as possible, I'd like to have it fixed but is it possible?
