My monitor is making a weird noise coming from the back. its sorta like a eghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh noise something like that. even when i turn it on it makes the noise. does anyone know what my problem is

Most likely one of your three color tubes is about to go out. I would suggest looking for another monitor the cost for repairing them is not worth it. Just replace it and move on.

do you mean it makes the noise when its off too? That is bad. Try a different monitor. It sounds like this one is going to blow! You could take it to geek squad or some other computer repair place, but you might be better off just getting a different monitor.

Is it like a beeping / chirping kind of noise? When my digital telephone starts to ring, my monitor kind of makes a weird noise but was told that its because of the Hz rating of the digital phone---funny only happens when the phone is about to ring. Pre warning I guess.

get some earplugs, then right click your desktop
click properties
click settings tab
push the advanced button
select the monitor tab
select a higher refresh rate more than 60hz

It might be going bad...I would suggest not using it for your own safety and get another one.
