whenever i try to print something it says "communication not available disconnect and reconnect USB cable, disconnect and reconnect the printers power cable and restart your computer" i have done this but it still wont let me print can anyone help?

Soon after a blackout ,I switched on my PC and the writer connected to it blew.Actually I switched on the adapter and everything was on fire especially the cd writer.On the PC nothing got burnt but the power supply is not running with the motherboard but is runnning on other motherboards.What could be the problem?

I am sure we have a AMD x64 dual core processor for desktops but do we have one for laptops ? I want to go for a laptop.. I am in a fix if I should go for a AMD x64 processor (assuming there is only a single processor) or Intel Centrino Duo.. if we have a AMD x64 Dual Core in a laptop... I guess the answer would be easy. What do you suggest ?

My macbook would give me headaches like the type you get with low screen refresh rates on traditional monitors. I would also notice a pulsing of the screen when I would lower the screen brightness to a lower setting as if the lamp was about to give out. Anyone else experiance the same thing? I sent mine back. Did I get a lemon or is this common issue?

I noticed that my system properties box switches between saying 1.00 GHZ and 2.00 GHZ from time to time. Does this mean that only one processor is turned on at certain times, or is my system info box just wrong?

It is in AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ if that helps...

on either side of this window are 7" blank spaces that is blank, how do I get the window to fill up the entire screen. It is fully maximized, I think it must be setting or something. please help, thanks. it is dell 1505.

I went to my videos and they didn't want to show the picture! It only showed the pictures and the sounds of the video and not the video!!!! Why? For more info..... i think i deleted something on accident....when i tried to play the video it said...

I have a new Apple, Mac Book Pro and a HP Color LaserJet 1600 Printer. I can print fine in Windows XP but when I switch over to OSX does not recognize the printer. Does this mean I have to get another printer so I can print from OSX?

I'm a classroom teacher and have some funds to buy a new printer. I'm finding lots of inexpensive color laser printers, but I'm wondering if my long-range cost is going to be significantly higher. I'm seeing that if I buy all the cartridges for the printer, it'll cost about $350-$400. We'll probably do practically all black and white, maybe a little color, and at most 20 pages a day. How soon will I run out of toner? Once a schoolyear or once a month?
