Printer works on Windows XP but not when I boot to Apple OSX?

I have a new Apple, Mac Book Pro and a HP Color LaserJet 1600 Printer. I can print fine in Windows XP but when I switch over to OSX does not recognize the printer. Does this mean I have to get another printer so I can print from OSX?

Sorry, but HP doesn't have an OS X driver for that printer. The only thing that i can think of that will work without getting a new printer is saving your print to disk as PDF and placing it in the windows partition (if possible?) or use a USB flash drive and then re-boot in Windows. Another option may be to use a program like Parallels to have windows running at the same time as Mac OS X.
