Ok here I go again, cuz i have no idea how to do it, and the Installation CD is just confusing me :S
I have a PC and a laptop, I bought a Linksys Router, and I have a USB network adaptor for my PC and my laptop can go wireless, I have my DSL modem from bellsouth, now the thing is how do I install the router??.. the DSL modem has a DSL cable, a USB cable, an Ethernet cable & the power cord, the router has two cables, the power cable, & an Ethernet cable.
Here are some pics from the router's CD to expain it better:

Ok the cable that connected my modem to the computer was a USB cable, not the one pictured above, i never used the Ethernet cable that came with my DSL modem.

I'm trying to open a gaming center, but I am lost when it comes to either Switch or router. I know routers can do what I ask, but they all seem to have too few amount of ports and are too pricy.

I did what they asked and checked it twice.
I turned off my comp and powered everything on in this order:
dsl modem, router, PC, and it still doesnt work. I put the setup wizard CD in and at the end of the setup it said...Unable to connect to router, make sure the adapter is plugged in and the adapter works properly.

All the right lights come on and everything, but its not working!!
PLEASE HELP!!!

No cell phone answers thank you. This is a experiment to show everything can be done through the wifi computer. Dialing a phone number out through the internet still seems to be quite challenging.

I have Comcast Cable Internet and have been renting a "wired" router for $3 a month. It is a Scientific Atlanta DPC2100. I want to buy a router (not wireless). Comcast has a list of approved modems but the list is mind boggling long...

http://media2.comcast.net/anon.comcastonline2/support/help/misc/cmclist.htm

I was thinking of buying the same router on ebay for $20. Any suggestions on brands or are all "wire" routers the same these days?

Thanks!

My Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G broadband router crapped out on me and I went to Best Buy and asked them about wireless routers. I live in a three room condo and have neighbors real close by which could pick my signal up easily. I have three computers, one main computer ( a Gateway GT5014 which gets the internet directly from DSL) and two other computers (two eMachines T6412s) which get the internet through my wireless network. Well anyways, when my router crapped out I went to Best Buy and talked to the guys there about wireless routers. They recommended I'd get a Netgear WPN824 RangeMax wireless router which was quite a bargain for $79 with 10x Speed and Coverage as opposed to my old one which had 1x. What do you people think I should get and why (price or quality)? Please spare no details. I would appreciate any help and would like to thank you for reading this.

Is fios better than comcast cable internet. I heard that cable internet is split up among everyone in your area while fios is not - is that true? Any help that anyone can give me would be awesome.

I bought a linksys router, wireless LAN 4 port broadband, I configurated it at home (my brother did) at home everyone could get connected easily but I brought it to my apartment (college) and I'm the only one who can get internet! All my friends have problems with it how can I make it happen? Should I change the IP address? My IP ends up with 34, which one is the next number?
