i can't find out how to change from B to A and now my xbox live won't connect because of that

802.11a operates at 5Ghz, 802.11b/g/n operate at 2.4Ghz.

Most wireless routers only operate at one freq, but there are a few routers that can do b/g or a. Usually you would log into your routers configuration setting and under the wireless section change to the 802.11x protocol you want to operate at.

its device driven. meening the wireless router is either a b g or n (possibly something exoctic) your card has to be the same. if you have a now. (which is quickly ageing) just simply go out and buy the new g router and a g wireless adaper for xbox
