Is fios better than comcast cable internet. I heard that cable internet is split up among everyone in your area while fios is not - is that true? Any help that anyone can give me would be awesome.

While it is true that cable internet is shared between users in a given area I, a comcast user, have never had a connection slower then 2.5Mb/s.

Fiber Optic will be faster and is not shared, but at 120.00 a month it is not that much better then comcast at 40,00 a month.

well for pricing go to the verizon web site and get the facts...the $120 is a package price for phone/tv/internet...

Yes with fiber you have your own connection that is not shared.. you get the speed you pay for...

FIOS has speed packages from 5/10/15/20/50 MB download speeds...is that better/faster than comcast???

anywho hope this helps..
