You know, stuff like "I luv mi babi he zo HAWT! OMG WT ^ w/ U? Cll me on da CELLY i call u BCK" I can't stand it... reading it is like decoding a secret language. Plus, it's just annoying. Why can't people write in complete sentences?

I have Yahoo DSL. It was easy to set up a year or so ago when I got it. I even set up a network in the house so my laptop could print to the printer attached to the other desk top computer. But suddenly, a few months ago, I couldn't do that any more -- I would get an error message.

The laptop's diagnostics told me that either (1) a cable was unplugged (but this is a wireless network, so there are no cables) or (2) my router -- you know, the box that came with the DSL set-up -- wasn't connected or wasn't working properly. But it's turned on, all the lights are on, and both the laptop and the other computer can access the internet wirelessly.

So, what's my problem?

i have a linksys router. i have cable modem. originally there was a splitter for the cable, one to dvr/tv tuner one to the modem. something happened and the modem stopped getting a signal. i removed the split and direct connect cable to the modem. when i did this all the lights came on the modem solid green. still no internet. i remove router and direct connect from modem to pc. i get internet. now i know its the router. i reconnect the router so i can access properties. i reset from scratch all settings. i held the little button for 30 secs all original info was gone. ive done this twice and i cant get the WAN IP to be valid. no matter what i do i keeps saying expired. there are not alot of options in this section for the router. there is a release button and a renew button and thats all. any help would be great. dont need to be babied i know my way around a computer. just cant figure this one out. thanks

I have two win xp computers ( one is pro, the other is not, but are sp 2).
On my latop ( the better of the two) i ran the windows wireless home network wizard and gave a name and put in a usb stick, it then told me to put the usb stick into my router ( its a wireless dsl ), the router has no usb port so i just went to step 3 and put it into the other computer.
It told me i had added this computer to the group NAT.
After that i have no idea how to make both of them talk to each other and share stuff? any ideas?
