Do something on why the hardware providers make their user interfaces for modem/routers so bloody hard to use.
They are full of techy stuff that we have to wade through just to set up our connection, or to open a few ports for a game.
Setting the security features can also be daunting when done by the less knowledgeable or anyone else for the first time.
Then sometimes windows conflicts and sets the ip instead of the router, The manufacturers don't cover this.
Who creates this situation?. Do a survey and see what the public think about do-it-yourself home networking.

p.s. Having seen every error that you can imagine over the last x years I now have no such problems in restoring my settings, factory reset etc.
I can do it in my sleep.

Write an article on networking for the home user as most home users don’t have a clue!
Write about the different ways you can network computers using routers and just basic cables.
An easy guide for the home user and to stop people going insane!
