You can do that, go to radio shack and ask them for a netgear or linlsys wireless router. It is as easy to set up as putting a CD in your computer

First of all both computers can talk to each other if they are connect to a router. If you go to your control panel on your computer and then pick network and Internet connections, there is a couple of chooses there to set up a home office or wireless home office. Just click on either one and follow directions. Just remember that if your XP firewall and your own security firewall are both enabled the 2 computers will not be able to see each other. Have only one firewall on. Then you will also need to make some programs, documents, etc. able to be shared. once they are in sharing mode then can come up on both. That is just a start, hopefully things might be easier from there on. Good Luck! p.s.- wireless networking needs a wireless adapter to go into the router and into the desktop/laptop.

If both computers connect to the same router then they can talk to each other. You may have to turn on file sharing.

As far as the wireless part goes, you will need the instruction manual for your particular router box. and you would need a wireless card for the computer that you want to be wireless. Since you already have them wired up, I don't see the point in disconnecting the wires and making them wireless, unless one of them is a laptop.

OK first of all you would need to buy a wireless network card to install into the second PC Then you need to secure your network by putting a password so that no-one else will connect to your network. Then you have to set both PC to share all files and folders and you are done. I hope this helped you good luck and best wishes.
