That's like a firewall on the Network Room,, you won't disable,, unless you go to that room, mostly if they get you, they'll throw you out of school...

There was a similar question on yahoo questions and answers a couple weeks ago. You problem is, the network is blocking you. You are obviously not the administrator, so there for, you cannot access the port settings, so you can get access to send and recieve information.
I am just like you, I wanted to fight the administrators to the death. I searched proxy after proxy, trying different websites and different ways of getting by the administrators, but I eventually relized it is not worth it. It is a big waste of time trying for something that you may never get, and if you would eventually get it, it would be time to graduate.

If you want to bypass any web filter or proxy server blocking any site, you can use Opera with Tor to safely and anonymously view or download whatever you want, because it uses the Opera (Internet Suite), so its really, really fast and the Tor network leaves no trace or history.

Plus This Opera Tor Bundle can be run off any disk: USB, network drive or hard drive.

Opera Tor - Opera + Tor + Privoxy

It's basicially a pre-configured bundle and optmized with the Opera Browser, The Onion Router and Privoxy. Just Run: Tor, Privoxy and Opera or click on "Start" in the bundle folder and freely surf away.

get on the mailing list for peacefire.org they will email you every time they make a new proxy so you can use it. the newest one is SurferDudeRanch.com make sure to delete your history and cookies when you sign off of the computer because they can trace where you have been which is how they find out about the new proxys kids are using.

Your gonna have to live with it. Aparently the network admin at your school has some good skills at blocking sites your not supposed to be at while your at school. You'll just have to wait to get home to reply. Hard truth but is all you can do. If proxies are blocked, your outta luck, Only other way would try to run vertual PC to your home system and try that way, but they may have that blocked too. Ofcourse you'd have to set VPC up at home first.

Edit the registry....dodgy but most school networks dont think of blocking REGEDIT.

Google Search Registry Proxy Edit and it will give you some information.

Enjoy!
