ok I know that I will need a router, is there anything else? I have a laptop with wireless b and g. I was going to buy me this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124010 from walmart for the same price as newegg.com but I was needing to know if that is all that I will need to have to connect to the internet.

Hi, Is there a free way to read .dbx files without having to take the time (and the money) to buy a program online? I was trying to find an e-mail message on a Norton 360 backup disc I made but I can't view it without whatever program reads dbx files. Any ideas? I sort of need that e-mail soon and I don't know if I order software how long that would take, and I was hoping there was a faster (hopefully free) solution. If anyone can help that would be a major help to me. I don't even know what a dbx file is. Thanks.

My Toshiba Satellite A215-S7413 only has 1024MB of DDR2 SDRAM ( no idea what that means), and my cousins who all work with computer said that it is not enough to run Windows Vista Home Premium and they said that I should get more, but how do i get more? ANY help would be great! Thanks

Somtimes it sounds like someones talking, like one of those internet explorer ads that can talk. It just happened again as im typing this lol, and it sounded like a tv ad. it was like "your watching somthing tv" and then i can hear some explosion noises or somthing. ITS WIERD AND CREEPY! it just randomly happens!

I have been playing Sims for ages and I now have Sims 2 with all of the expansion packs (up to Bon Voyage) and no "Stuff" packs on my computer. My computer is a laptop, Dell Inspiron E1505.

For whatever reason, I will be playing and the screen will freeze up and nothing will unfreeze it and I end up having to shut my computer down. Other times, I get an error message that says "D3DERR_NOTAVAILBLE." It gets to the point when I am saving my game every 5-10 minutes just to keep from losing all my progress but that's a pain in the butt.

Laptop specs:
Windows XP Pro w/SP2
Dell Inspiron I6400
Intel Core Duo
T2400 @ 1.83 GHz
1.00 GB of RAM
11.4 free GB on C: drive

Every once in awhile this box shows up in the lower right hand corner of my screen at the task bar: "Virtual memory minimum too low. Windows is increasing the size of the virtual memory paging file." Then it goes on to say the pc will be working slower while this is done.

What does this mean and what is a virtual memory? Thanks very much and if you could include a link or two, I'd appreciate it.

I just got a brand new computer, its running windows vista home premium. its an asus g2s-b1 laptop. anyways it just wont download the files. I can download programs like aim and firefox but nooo cant do a windows update... what the hell is wrong here?
