The graphics card I want to get: Saphhire ATI x1950 Pro AGP

My PC Specs:
Dell Dimension 8300
Intel Pentium 4 2.6 GHz
2 1/2 GB RAM

Also, I am going to buy a new power supply for my computer, will a 500w power supply be sufficient for the card?

When ever I try watching a DVD on my computer it says "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer." Where would I get this decoder? Would it be in my dell Operating System CD?

I have a long list of emails that are all in one cell of an excel page. Is there a formula I can use so that it seperates each addresses (which are followed with a comma and a space) into seperate fields so it can be a sortable list?

i treid to reinstallation of winxp.i format my hard drive and make new partitions.when i tried to installation after some time"when it says 39 mintues left to isntalled" then errors comes "one of the component that window needs to continue setup could not installed.
the error is data error "cyclic redendacy check"
is there a problrm in the cd or hard disk
hard disk is formatted
i tried with two cds but same error.i don't know it is a hard disk problem or cd problem help me how can i solve this problem and install win on my pc

When I try to run the game, I get an error message telling me that separate alpha blend is not supported by either my card or my drivers. I have the latest drivers installed. Can this be fixed or do I need a better card? If so, any suggestions for a good, inexpensive card that is better than the fx 5900?

I recently bought the wireless router Hercules WiFi because I wanted wirless internet for my macbook, and for my nintendo Wii. Both my laptop and Wii show that they have connected with the Hercules WiFi, but when I try to access the internet, it says there is no connection. Ive recently been on a website where people can comment on the product. Some users said that they had the same problem as me, but then others said that as soon as they plugged it into the computer, it worked straight away, and was the best thing they have ever bought. Im getting really frustrated now, and I hope someone has any hints or problem solvers, because otherwise I would have wasted 40 euros! thanks

I have a emachine computer model i'm not sure but it was like a 800 dollar desktop kit with a moniter and all anyway i had this computer for a year now and like 3/4 of that year the fan on the side of the computer gets very loud during games i minimize the game it stops i open it up it does it again, the computer runs perfectly fine it can handle all my games with no probelms it just seems that my computer fan on the side is working really hard and noisy in the process, could i buy a new good computer fan for that part of my computer that could be less loud?

i've tried putting in the password anyway i can, but it keeps on saying invalid password. The password is correct though, my dad printed out a sheet of paper from the linksys thing on his computer and it has the type of security and everything. Even, the encryption type.. which was like TKIP.... The computer never asked me for that. I have a feeling it has something to do with that. please help!!! please and thank you =]

2 weeks ago I downloaded the trial version of kaspersky internet security (thanks god). And from time to time it tells me that an attempt to attack my computer has been detected and blocked. How is it that other people know my IP adress and try to enter my computer? It also shows me the IP adresses of the attackers. What should I do? Are all wireless cards designed to be used with any router? I have a verizon router and need to hook up another desktop PC to access the internet. All the wireless cards that I come across with at staples don't say anything about being universal or interchangable. Will I have to go through Verizon for a wireless card?

I see my router on the list but it will not connect to it. I get a massage "connection timeout" or "connection failed" I use my wireless G adapter for my desktop computer so i know my wireless is working. But on the Apple laptop I can't get it to work, it won't select mine or my neighbors ID. Is there any reason for this. Or do I have to secure my network for it to work.
