I want to pay ~50-70/mo but do not want a partial t1. I've got 6/512 now and I want 1MB u/l min. I'd rather have 4MB down and 2 MB up, but I kinda know (kinda) how bandwidth works and I know this may be a dumb question.

Well, if you are in an area of Atlanta that has it check with ATT Uverse. It has 6meg down and 1meg up with a Static IP!!!

I have had it about three months and it really is much better than the "standard" dsl packages. (It uses fiber backbone, copper from local box to your house) Not bad and great system. They say they will be going to 10 down early in 2008? But the 6 actually beet the charter line I used to have by well over 1 meg. It truly is 6 down! And I often show 1.1 up normally its just under at 995.

Merry Christmas and God Bless

Comcast or Charter are the only choices for really fast internet access.
