Computers & Internet - 25 December 2007

I am thinking to purchase a dell XPS M1530 laptop. I live in baroda,India. i wish to know if the technical support is good or not? I have come to know that if any problems occur in the laptop,it is very difficult to get it repaired in india. Is it true? What is the technical support after the warranty period expires?
Please reply. Or should i go with HP or any other suggestions? My budget is 60K.

everthing is fine and straight forward but my internet modem is conected by usb but the router connection is ethernet and as soon as i set it up i dont have a internet connection ,do i have to do something change my connection ..thanks for any advise in advance.
