I am thinking to purchase a dell XPS M1530 laptop. I live in baroda,India. i wish to know if the technical support is good or not? I have come to know that if any problems occur in the laptop,it is very difficult to get it repaired in india. Is it true? What is the technical support after the warranty period expires?
Please reply. Or should i go with HP or any other suggestions? My budget is 60K.

Nice decision to go for DELL-XPS.
The DELL XPS M1530 is the best one and the configuration is also nice one. And in Dell Laptop you can set configuration as what you want. Means, according to your choice.
And don't worry about technical support. The technical support is the best one for DELL and that to be 24*7 round the clock support. And those people give u each and every suggestion whatever and any kind of problem, they will suggest and definitely they will help. Most importantly, DELL laptops are the rough and tough one, specially the new XPS series. Its the best one according to configuration and price as well. I'm also going to buy this Model and about technical support, one of my friend already worked in DELL technical support center that's y he knows everything. so don't worry about that. Go for it. You'll definitely LOVE the DELL Laptop.

A friend of mine who repairs laptop computers says that the newer HP models appear to have fewer problems than the newer Dells. But he also says that the Apple line of computers and laptops are the very best choice, and that is what he uses at home and at work.

Please go to diffrerent forums and check the feedback of all the notebooks of all good brand like Dell, Acer, HP etc. after that choose which one is good, do keep in mind that what the requirements do you have.
As most of the laptops are manufactured by same companies but under differ lables. you can confirm the support after sales on forums.

if u a computer or laptop first do some resach on it .i would tell others to buy a mac than windows because it has a stable one. i would sugest u to buy a sony with windows vista because very soon xp is going to get closed.
