is this a bad battery. We have had Laptop for approx 2 years.

I Have a acer aspire 3680. I bought it in July It Worked Perfectly untill a week ago. When I plug in the charger the inidicator light doesn't light up. Since then i had to turn it to akward postions to make it charge. When I remove the battery with the charger plugged in it dosent turn on. Someone told me that my power jack inside is loose and I have to solder it back in. Could it be the charger or what? I sadly LOST the warrnty book is there another way to apply for ti or am I screwed? If i do need to solder it back in how much do you think it might cost around aproximitaly? Please Help

I need some help. I accidentally deleted a site out of my favorites and now I cannot find the site. I know there are a ton of these but this site is a word design maker. It will design words in to things like flames, bubbles, carved stone, mirror images. When you save it, it will save as a picture. It is totally free, can be used anywhere, and has no attached advertisements. I have 64bit Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon and want to install Compiz Fusion so I can have all the effects. So far it has said my graphics card will not work. I have a Radeon 1300+ Pro graphics card. Will someone explain(in detail), what to do so I can make this work?

I have a Netgear router which sends the signal into my kids' computer room which has 2 identical Dell computers. One of the computers gets a good signal & the other doesn't. They are about 2 feet away from each other and the computer that is farthest from the router is the one with the best signal. Is there any way to get a better signal on the other computer? It is causing a lot of conflict in the house =).

I am trying to speed up my computer, and want to see if it is safe or ok to end some of the owner programs that are running. I wrote all the programs down and can't find any help about them. Example "WkCalrem.exe". What the heck is that, and can I end the program (owner) without hurting anything?

Please help me! I donwloaded Vista upgrade advisor and it said that everything is ok and i can use Vista! But when it is at the end it sais that the install was not succesfull! why not?

Btw i have a pentium 4 with 3.0 GHz, 1.5 Gb of RAM, nVidia geforce 5500 (i know it is not good but it is supported) !

I'm getting an Ipod Touch for christmas this year. It says that you can go on any website as long as you have WiFi connection. My question(s) is this - What is the rough cost for a WiFi router or whatever it's called.
