I have 64bit Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon and want to install Compiz Fusion so I can have all the effects. So far it has said my graphics card will not work. I have a Radeon 1300+ Pro graphics card. Will someone explain(in detail), what to do so I can make this work?

Refer to the hardware compatibility list.

I personally would go with an Nvidia graphics card. I have a Geforce 8500GT and it works flawlessly with the Nvidia proprietary driver.

Usually, Ubuntu will walk you through getting the correct drivers. It will say something about you not having the correct drivers, but it can retrieve them for you.

"So far it has said my graphics card will not work. I have a Radeon 1300+ Pro graphics card." - means your graphics card isn't supported.

Buy a supported graphics card.
