Everytime I restart the computer, the internet shows "no connection". My mother does something to it so it works, but I dont know what it is!

This popup from ZoneAlarm has been appearing on my computer, and I am not sure what to do about it or what it means exactly.

Hey guys im wondering im gona buy a wireless routor for the inter net for my ipod touch and a laptop in a bit of time and wondering i know people can hook them sefs onto your net and wondering should i get one or is their somthing i can stop people from geting in to like program so you can say who connets to it somthing like that and who you can stop conecting to it so answer the question and be in the luck to win 10 points!!!.

I removed the RAM stick. The number on it read:

DDR 512 mb PC 2700

HTL XE 1026

I am planning to buy the RAM online, but I have no idea what to select. Can someone tell me exactly what the RAM description should say? I need 512 mb or 1GB

My dad wants to purchase a new computer but wants to use his old hard drive. He has a large hd and would perfer to use it instead of a new hd. Has anyone had any problems using their old hard drives in a new computer?

I think it was called Geologia, but i can't find anything by that name on the internet. it came in a large green box and what it was about was different scenes from all over the earth. I think one of the images on the box was the inside of a cave.

I was under the impression that sing internet connection sharing within Windows Vista would be sufficient. Here is what i've done:

- plug in internet cable into computer #1
- turn on internet connection sharing (within the wireless card) on computer #1
- set up an ad hoc network on computer #1
- connection to ad hoc connection on computer #2

the connection is successful, but now neither machine established a connection to the internet. Any suggestions? How do i fix this?

everytime i wanna play a game, whether it be an online rpg or cd-rom game.. like downloaded for both.. whenever i play.. lets say Sid Meier's Pirates.. it says "Sid Meir's pirates has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".
and then 3 buttons on the bottom that says debug, send or dont send error report..
and then when i wanna play kalonline(rpg game) .. i click kalonline.exe to play and it says same thing but instead of side meier's pirates it says "kalonline.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". and whenever i click any of the buttons the game exits out!
help!

My husband bought a laptop from a friend a while back and we don't know the password to start it up. After I push alt+ctrl+del, there is a username in there and I don't know the password. We've tried pushing F8 but it won't let us log in to safe mode or anything else without this password. Is there any way to reset it? Any way to just reinstall Windows and skip this screen?

I have tried Housecall65, Ad-Aware, SuperAnti-Spyware, SmitFraudFix, Panda, you name it..and everytime i do a sweep, it tells me that it could not remove the virus. I have already tried to restore my computer but it only gave me the day that my computer was infected, No day sooner. I need a something that is free that will help me remove my viruses. The one that iritates me the most is the Advertisement virus, this one stinks. As i write this, it keeps popping up. It sucks. PLEASE HELP!! Serious and honest answers only please. I've had my 360 connected to live via ethernet to my router which connects it to the 3 windows XP computers in my house under the network MSHOME, which I never did quite learn to share files or anything else with except internet.

Heres the problem, I bought a labtop with windows vista home premium on it which created the new network WORKGROUP I think. I switched on one my windows XP pc's to WORKGROUP from MSHOME and thanks to vista was able to transfer files like my music library between the old computer and my labtop. I opened windows media player 11 (preinstalled) and found out my 360 isnt on my new network, its on my old one apparently which is why windows media connect cant find it im guessing. I use a hard wired method using long Ethernet cables connected to a router in my living room and its worked fine for years. How do i change which network in my house my xbox 360 connects to? windows help didnt say anything about selecting a ~WIRED~ network, only help with wireless ones.

Hey Guys ,

i have a 1MB DSL connection , on my desktop it shows Speed as 100Mbps , its much faster (connected on a wired network). can i get the same speed on my laptop wireless connection 100Mbps? it only shows as 54.0 Mbps.
