I have already tried to restore my computer but it only gave me the day that my computer was infected, No day sooner. I need a something that is free that will help me remove my viruses. The one that iritates me the most is the Advertisement virus, this one stinks. As i write this, it keeps popping up. It sucks. PLEASE HELP!! Serious and honest answers only please. Thanks guys and gals.

The standard removal tool for Vundo is called VundoFix and it is available for free here:
http://vundofix.atribune.org/

However there is a new version of Vundo which uses rootkit technology to avoid detection and removal. The new Vundo rootkit needs advanced manual removal techniques or a reformat to delete it.

Information here:

Here's hoping that yours is the good ol' fashioned Vundo!

Good luck.

Find a computer geek ( one that's never worked at Best Buy) and have them check the registry. It will cost you a few dollars, but In the end worth every penny.

Or buy Norton Anti-virus or Free AVG software.

Oh ! If your not sure what your doing stay off of the registry, one false move and you might wipe out your computers complete hard drive !!!

search up

vundofix.exe
and
process explorer

or email me and I will email you a rar with these programs.

what you will have to do is use process explorer to search around and find the process tree these things are running under (unfortunately windows task explorer won't allow you to shut these down) and stop the process.

then run vundofix.exe (may be better if you google for a more updated version of this (I don't get problems unless someone else uses my computers so haven't updated it in a few months) you can also try to run this program before hand, as it may work if the infected files are not in a required process tree.

You have some real awkward infections and I suggest you download a Smitfraud removal program from:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/desktop_software/desktop_security/smitfraudfix.cfm
If possible run in Safe Mode.
And VundoFix:
http://vundofix.atribune.org/

Also try SuperAntiSpyware in Safe Mode a couple of times and then in normal mode.

In addition download, update & run Avira. Unlike a lot of the free antivirus applications this will give you real time protection and is very quick to load at boot up.
