I do not know why my letters are wearing off only after two days and very little use?
Anyone else have this happen?
I'm looking for a protective skin for it if i can find the right one.
Thanks in advance for replies and solutions

well thank god its not a laptop... i would try washing your hands to make sure you have no chemicals on them before you type and if that is not it then contact hp and tell them to send you a new one.

keyboards are cheap go by a 30-40 dollar one and no more problems.

HP must be turning Compaq! My 2003 HP keyboard is fine after 4 years of heavy use. My old Compaq wore out in 2 months so I got a uprated Logitech and was fine.

Rediculous for that to happen, but they are mega-cheap so...
If you call them, they will send you a new one and won't request the old one back. However, is it worth it to wait that long?

Personally, I'd go down to your local PC Shop and play with some quality keyboards in person and get a step up from the "freebie" that they throw in. Some people prefer Quiet keyboards and others prefer Natural keyboards, etc...

That's a weak point for the desktop. Replace the keyboard.
