I'm doing a Cybercorp project and I'm supposed to "build" a personal computer. I chose to do a Hi-tech personal computer instead of Home and Business. I chose an ATX Motherboard with Power Pin: 24.. I'm trying to find a nice power supply that is best for my hi-tech personal computer.. (Like for gaming and animations and all that hi-tech stuff)

Oh and what sound card & video card do you recommend that I choose?

The Parts must be compatible together...

I don't OC and i like my computer fast but i'm no Uber enthusiast when it comes to power

how do i make my go faster like my brother complains about lag on runescape, it's not graphically intensive so don't recommend upgrading the GPU

so would i see that much a difference?

what do you suggest about my RAM

does dual channel actually matter and in my situation is it enabled (for those 2 matching sticks of course)

I want to to develop a software that is used as communication media that is as a telephone system. the software is intended to use for local networked computers. from example if i am in the 4th floor and my friend is in the 2nd floor(both computers are connected ) then i want to call him by using Microhpne adn speaker( using voice to voice communication like telephone). so how can i do this? any one knows any free source code using c,c ++ or java?

I was about to purchase a Macbook until i saw on macrumors.com that a new macbook was going to be annoucned at the 2008 January Macworld San Fran. convention...

So should i hold off on buy the Macbook or I should buy it anyways cause it'll be cheaper and there might not be anything worthwhile to hold off on buying it?

Can anybody please help me.I have tried to do this program but it's wrong. Some ppl have said this program is easy but,what I'm doing is wrong.


1. multiple methods (at least 2 others as well as main)
2. Declare functions,call them with multiple argument and return values from them
3. Use final variables to store literal values
4. Use import javax.swing.*; library for using JOptionPane.showInputDialog and JOptionPane.showMessageDialog


I need a program that works out how a company's profit is to be shared amongst the partners and employees.The 3 partners share half of the profit. The remaining half is shared equally amongst the other employees as a bonus. The user should input the total profit made and number of workers and the program should print out the amount to be given to the partners and the amount given to the workers.

The program should use 2 seperate methods to do the two calculations.Each method should be passed the profit(input elsewhere)as argument.

GPU Core Bus Speed: Stock 576 MHz; Custom OC'ed to 625 MHz

GPU Memory Bus Speed: 730 MHz: Custom OC'ed at 800 MHz

With those settings, I'm playing Crysis at Medium settings, and the highest the graphics card's temperature went was 72C; so those bus speeds are stable.

How much of an increase would one notice with that much increase in bus speeds?

-Absolutely no viruses, because Apple is extremely smart so they made the security very well.
-Cheaper than PC's
-More choices in hardware (such as iLife, iTunes, iChat, you don't see that stuff of PC's!)
-They look far better than stupid beige PC cases
-has more games than PC's because they can run games for Macs AND Windows
-built-in cameras, unlike those stupid PC's where you have to tape the cameras on top of the monitors
-Micro$oft is 100% greedy, they don't care about their customers, all they want is money you can easily tell since the creator Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world, and Apple is actually a nice company that cares about their customers
-much much faster
-your OS isn't stuck with IE, instead you have a much better browser called Safari
-many more reasons why Mac is more advanced than PC

Those who have been living under a rock (Windows users) should switch to Macs. Or maybe Linux. Linux is ok.

My limit on buying a movie program is at most $150. And throughout all my research it seems that Sony Vegas Movie Studio and Adobe Premiere Elements are the top two choices, plus they are about the same price. Not by being their friend!
Somebody constantly is adding me (I know this person and we are not friends) and i have a feeling they are viewing my profile. I was wondering if it is possible when my profile is on private? if so, how?

If not is there a reliable and safe(not get a virus) way to find who has been viewing my myspace? i know most are fakes.

So here's my setup

500W Antec power supply
AMD BE-2300 chip
ECS NFORCE6 motherboard
IDE controller PCI card
Four hard drives
Radeon 2600XT video card
2 GIGs of DDR2 800 memory (2 DIMMs)
Soundblaster Live (old card from 2001)

I installed 2 more GIGs of memory (2 DIMMs) and long story short, the system becomes unstable in Vista UNLESS I unistall the sound card.

Does anyone even want to try to explain this?

I'm looking into getting a new laptop. My gateway has 'died' and I need a new one.
I want one where the graphics card is good enough for gaming and the speed is up there too. I've found 2 on walmart.com that I reallly like. 1 is a Toshiba and the other is HP. The links are provided below. Please compare them and tell me which one is better. Thanks.

Anyone ever notice that number in the bottom left in the green oval? I put my mouse over it, and it says "You are sharing 223 files" ! ! ! It does that everytime i download the song. Is their a way to turn that off?

does it mabye mean that im sharing it with my network? (Because their is one modem in my house that shares internet with three computers)
