So should i hold off on buy the Macbook or I should buy it anyways cause it'll be cheaper and there might not be anything worthwhile to hold off on buying it?

Okay, now for a REAL answer. There is always something new and wonderful at Macworld in January. However, never, NEVER buy first to market for anything. Even Apple. The current crop of Macbooks have had most of the kinks worked out by now. I bought my G4 ibook three months before the Intel switch (LAST generation G4, in other words). Not one problem. In your shoes, I would buy now. BTW, max the ram; you won't regret it.

Why would you waste your money buying a Macbook? Get a real computer.
