I'm doing a Cybercorp project and I'm supposed to "build" a personal computer. I chose to do a Hi-tech personal computer instead of Home and Business. I chose an ATX Motherboard with Power Pin: 24.. I'm trying to find a nice power supply that is best for my hi-tech personal computer.. (Like for gaming and animations and all that hi-tech stuff)

Oh and what sound card & video card do you recommend that I choose?

The Parts must be compatible together...

Best= 8800 GT or ATI HD 3870
Awesome= 8800 Ultra Superclocked or Black Pearl.

Onboard sound of most high end motherboards are pretty good.

theres a distinction in compatability the 24 pin PSUs have a fastened volume of pins for the motherboard (24 pin motherboard potential connections are the fashionable ones) the 20 +4 pins are daul like minded with the fashionable 24 pin ones (you connect the 4 pins to the prevailing 20 pins and plug it in to the motherboard) and the older desktops (usually 6 years or older) wich use 20 pin motherboard potential connections so usually there are not any massive ameliorations interior the overall performance of the pc except you purely have 20 pins plugged right into a 24 pin socket then you definately get allot of tension on the pc and relentless bluescreens and blunder messages with the aid of fact of loss of potential. desire it fairly is obvious.

Most (if not all) power supplies can plug into a 24 pin connection (whether via 24-pin plug or a 20+4). Use an nVidia 8800GT graphics card, and any Audigy sound card.
