I am trying to back up some files that I have place on my harddrive. I have tried placing them at two different locations to see if it's the location from where I am saving them from that was causing me the trouble, but no chance. I am trying to backup from Windows Backup to do this and I can't use anything else, because that's what my Assignment strictly sais. I got told to use a CD-RW instead as the backup has trouble with a CD-R, still no luck. I then googled it a bit and found that I should format the CD-RW first before the backup. It IS a blank disk afterall...so haven't tried that yet (I know that to format media is to prepare the media for use with a particular file system, and the format of the disk is different to the operating systems file format). The error I get is; "The backup file name could not be used. "I:\ICAS2017A.bkf", Please ensure it is a valid path, and that you have sufficient access". I AM an administrator, not networked..NO IDEA! Please help anybody??

my laptop is a tablet pc and I downloaded "My Font Tool for Tablet PC", where you write in all the letters, numbers, and symbols and then you safe it as a font in your Microsoft Word. Well after I filled everything out I tried hitting "Install this Font on This Computer" and a box popped up saying: The font file could not be installed. There may be a conflict with an existing font, or you may not have the proper permissions necessary to install a font on this computer. It is my computer so what should I do? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I'm getting laptop and thursday and I'm trying to become well rounded. In 2004 my friend bought a laptop but his battery had messed up to the point where he couldnt turn the laptop on and use the laptop. Do they sell some kind of adapter where you can still use your laptop but you have to plug it up into a socket of course without a battery?

so...i currently have a 128 RAM and a AMD K7 processor 600MHz. I am about to get a 2 gb ram and an AMD X2 Dual Core, but im not changing the motherboard as it is too expensive and all the parts fit my current motherboard. My question is, by adding this will i be able to play games like san andreas on my pc??? also i have a 256 Nvidia video card, so by adding this, will my pc be able to play games like need for speed carbon??? oh and do i have to reinstall my OS Windows????????

I recently got a different computer and when I bring up the internet, it shows it in the center of the page. I have it set to go on full screen and it does cover the full screen, but the internet web pages are all in the center of the web screen. I recently purchased 1 GB of Ram. I have a HP pavilion 774e and had 512 MB installed before I added 1 GB of ram. I installed my ram and the computer recognizes it, but my computer doesn't seem to be going any faster. Would taking out the 512 MB out and just running the 1 GB help? Thanks for all your comments!
