My sister has been looking at photos on myspace and my laptop is running a bit slow. Yesterday I kept getting an error message on yahoo answers that I have never had before. Can doing this cause a virus or other problems with my laptop or is it something unrelated?

It could, there have been viruses/malware on myspace before. If shes just looking at friends or trustworthy people I wouldn't worry about it too much. If your still worried there are some excellent free anti-viruses out there like avast (http://www.avast.com/) and avg (http://www.grisoft.com/).

well as you look through the pics...your computer remembers them so they will load faster next time...it takes up some room on your hard drive and these files are called cache.

the best way to fix that problem is to go to tools and then select internet options and and there should be two buttons that say delete cookies and delete files...click on both of those to delete your cookies and cache...which should help out.

you will would desire to alter your password. in case you look on "Tom"'s web site there's slightly approximately phishing (fishing?) the place there's a go surfing web site saying you incorrectly enter your password and to do it returned. it somewhat isn't A MYSPACE web site! Definately exchange your password and only make particular you in basic terms ever log onto the Myspace substantial web site

For in case, update your anti-virus and do a full scanning.

Then, try again to yahoo.

For further advice, please state the error message
