how would i code "a count of items entered" after i press calculate, meaning every time i press calculate it is equal to one item. The information will tally in a label named item count

On my mac when i install applications and when i want to delete them i drag them to the trash and empty the trash but there is still missing space after i delete them and before i installed the applications i had like 95.5gb and then installed a application and i had only 93gb left but i deleted the program and now i only have 94.54gb's left now so wheres the missing space???

I have windows media player version 10.00.00.4019 and I cannot burn any CD's. When I try, it says No CD or DVD burner has been detected. So I did what I needed to get to services and the windows media player file IMAPI CD-Burning COM service Properties. Now, when I try to reboot the CD burner, it says "Cannot start COM Serive on the local computer Error 2: cannot find the file specified." Help please?

I keep getting these emails from no one I even know. Then they keep coming, and coming, and coming. I asked someone what the heck was going on, how did these people get my freaking email? I know many will say to not mess with it if I don't know what I'm doing.
I'd like to set a macro in VI so that while in command mode, if I type something, say "gcc", it will run the following command:

!gcc % && a.out

Not that it is too horribly time consuming to type that or just !! to repeat that each time... I was just wanting to learn what my possibilities were. Is it something that needs to go in my .exrc file? Thanks.

I want to be able to set my computer so that it can turn off on it's own everynight without my having to press anything. Is this possible? I thought maybe "task manager" but that only let's me select from a list of programs to run at a specific time. Any ideas?

I have had a laptop for a year now. Overtime I have added programs and such. The laptop is windows vista. I am wanting to return it to the original factory.

I am also wanting to do this to erase all my history on the computer.... YES I DID LOOK AT PORN and I am wanting that to erase also. So the easiest thing including removing programs is to return it to the factory settings.

I dont know how to do that.

As for the porn..GUILTY AS CHARGE. My wife will kill me.
