I have windows media player version 10.00.00.4019 and I cannot burn any CD's. When I try, it says No CD or DVD burner has been detected. So I did what I needed to get to services and the windows media player file IMAPI CD-Burning COM service Properties. Now, when I try to reboot the CD burner, it says "Cannot start COM Serive on the local computer Error 2: cannot find the file specified." Help please?

If I may, your windows media player is to view and listen to CD's and DVD's it is a PLayer not a Burner.
Depending on your computer, I'm quessing you need to use Nero or whatever burning software that came with your computer, it won;t have anything to do with the Media Player.

Maybe you need to reinstall the driver for the CD burner. Or get a new one. They come real cheap nowadays.
